Sendte en mail til Christopher Currell som spillte synth clavier under bad turnèen ang hvorfår MJ synger låtene sine noen halvtoner lavere når han framfører de live.. Her er svaret jeg fikk-

Marcus,

Hi! good question.

Actually, as MJ got older, his voice dropped in pitch. When he was younger, he had a very high pitched natural voice. As age set in, his physical body changed (as we all eventually do) which made the sound of his voice go lower. Basically, as he got older, he couldn't hit those high notes the same way he did when he was a kid. Sooo, he lowered the keys on the older tunes. I know the Bad tour (which was five or six years after the Victory tour) was intense work for him and it began to wear out his voice a bit. he had his voice coach (Seth Rig) come out on part of the tour to help him through that. Actually, he did just fine in concert. There were times that your's truly also helped him in ways that are still secret today. All I can say is, technology is wonderful! ;-)

By the way, I don't remember if I commented on the audio clip you sent me. I thought you did pretty good! Maybe you should come to the U.S. to do some shows since it seems that MJ will not return here anytime soon. :-)

Peace,

Chris
