Michael Jackson's brother has broken down in tears as he launched his upcoming tribute to the King of Pop.
Jermaine Jackson was in London to discuss the planned show in Vienna this month, but he wept when asked if the family had found any time to mourn in private.
"We haven't had time yet" he explained, as he struggled to hold back tears, "Michael didn't belong to us, he belonged to the world. We have to give the world what they want. It's tough, very tough."
Jermaine is holding the concert in Austria on September the 26th. After it was announced this week, the line-up including Mary J. Blige, Akon and Chris Brown has been criticised for being too lightweight, but the Jackson 5 member admits its been hard.
"We're trying to do something special," he said.
"The focus is on the fans to feel in touch with his legacy one more time, we're reaching out to anyone we can."
On the subject of Chris Brown, who is still on probation for beating up his girlfriend Rihanna, Jermaine said he wasn't concerned about adverse press.
"He's asked for forgiveness. If Christ can forgive us all, we can look at Chris Brown. People make mistakes, they need support, and he's a wonderful performer".
Jackson refused to comment on the ongoing investigation into Michael's death. "I can't speak about it. If there was any wrong play, it will be dealt with accordingly".
He also promised that he was in talks with Stevie Wonder, R Kelly and Maroon 5 about appearing at the show.
Michael himself will also appear onscreen to duet with Jermaine.
